Vegan Prenatal Vitamins Roundup
Hey, beautiful vegan mamas-to-be! I’m sure you’re probably already taking your daily prenatals, but just in case you’re having a hard time finding a vegan version of these, I wanted to recommend a few brands to make things a bit easier.
Taking prenatal vitamins is a key way to help cover any nutritional gaps in your diet. Their folic acid, iron, iodine, and calcium content are especially important. A lot of non-vegan vitamin brands contain animal-derived ingredients such as fish oil, gelatin, and D3. Since I’m expecting my second monchichi in January (and this ain’t my first rodeo), I’ve had the opportunity to try out most of these brands of prenatals listed below. My faves as marked with and “*”, although I have no doubt in my mind that they are all fantastic!
Trader Joe’s Prenatal Vitamins*
DEVA Vegan Prenatal Multi Vitamins*
Solaray Once Daily Prenatal Vitamins
Garden of Life Kind Organics Prenatal Multi Vitamins
Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal Multivitamin
Raw Green Organics Prenatal Multivitamin Supplement
Which vegan prenatals are your faves?
